Brendan McHugh, AIA, NCARB
Ever since childhood, Brendan was interested in the design of places and how they were constructed. The concept of "home" and the personal sense of space associated with a home drove him throughout his career to continually explore creative spaces for the way we live.
During the completion of his architectural studies at Miami University and Georgia Institute of Technology, he spent a semester abroad in Italy touring and studying the villas and churches throughout the Tuscan region. He then began his career designing a wide variety of projects, including: commercial, historical, resort and residential design.
With professional architectural experiences in Atlanta, Philadelphia, and New Jersey, he knew he would fulfill his dream to provide creative residential design full time to pursue his passion for residential architecture.
Following the Palladian core values of design to "function, endure and delight," Brendan's practice encourages the exploration of new ideas to augment the classical and modern styles with new concepts. His highly interactive approach to architecture results in projects that are genuine reflections of the individuals who inhabit them, all the while exuding exceptional craftsmanship, detail and functionality.
